Frequently Asked Questions

It is never easy to visit a new church for the first time, so we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a good one.

How Should I Dress?

We want you to feel comfortable.  After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing. Causal dress is the preferred dress here, jeans are welcomed. Come the way that you feel most comfortable.

What is the Worship Like?

Our worship is energetic, spirit filled and life changing. On any given Sunday, you are likely to see people, clapping, raising their hands, kneeling down, singing and celebrating! You will also see people quietly reflecting on the words they are singing. Worship is more than just music.  It is those moments when the Holy Sprint saturates our lives and moves us to visibly express our love for God. We believe that everyone should be able to worship God in their own way. We want you to come as you are into the presence of our Great King.

What about Offerings?

Each week there is a time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. This is an act of worship that allows us to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in our lives.  It also gives DA Assembly the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.

What kind of Message is being preached?

In every service you will hear a relevant, straightforward, God inspired message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life.  We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.

What about Communion?

We celebrate communion together on designated Sundays. Anyone can participate in this time of reflection and prayer – as long they’ve made the decision to follow Jesus Christ.  The juice and bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.

Whether you’re single, married, single again, with or without children – no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done – we invite you to experience the difference here. Please e-mail us if you have any additional questions: firstassemblyda@yahoo.com
